A transmission tower (also known as a power transmission tower, power tower, or electricity pylon) is a tall structure (usually a steel lattice tower) used to support an overhead power line. Transmission towers have to carry the heavy transmission conductors at a sufficient safe height from the ground. They carry this electrical line for a long distance. These lines typically feed into a substation so that the electricity can be reduced to a level that can be subsequently used by the clients.as hotdip galvanise has a proven performance under numerous environment conditions. These towers which are hotdipped galvanised are erected with the help of hotdip galvanised bolts nuts. The protection of the bolts nuts is very essential, because if the fastners cored and fail, the whole structure will be at high risk.
